ShopSite has made it possible for people without any coding experience to create stunning eCommerce sites. I mean…they have made it simple as in…anyone can do it and they do. There’s just one snag…

Spreadsheets.

Yeah, those.  Unfortunately, manufacturers and suppliers are still sharing product information with eCommerce retailers via a technology that definitely can’t be called ‘cutting edge’. Spreadsheets are something like public phone booths. They’re still around and useful but not the most convenient way to contact someone.

That’s why we decided to create Venzee!

Venzee gives you a more up-to-date way to get things done by making it possible for ShopSite merchants to both create and update ShopSite-ready products without having to fuss around too much with spreadsheets!

How it works:

Step 1: It’s Easy & Free To Sign Up For Venzee

We’ve made our sign-up process as easy and quick as possible. No credit card required. Once you’re signed up you can begin importing your data. Check out the videos below for more information on how to do that.

Step 2: Your ShopSite Template

You will be using Venzee’s ShopSite template to transform the data sent to you by your supply chain into ShopSite products. So, first stop is our Template Library. To get there you go to Dynamic Data and click the “Add” button. Select the ShopSite template.

Step 3: Creating a Dynamic Collection Using The ShopSite Template

Now that we have our ShopSite template we’re going to use it to create the ShopSite-ready products.

The first thing we need to do is start mapping your source data’s attributes (size, color etc.) to the ShopSite template’s fields. If you need any help doing this just click the little question mark “?”. Remember, your source data is what you imported in Step 1.

We have also created some advanced options for you to use like the ability to create tables, add padding, or perform math calculations. You can also create brand new content by combining your original data with the fields in the ShopSite template.

When you’re done mapping click “Generate”.  Go to “Export”, follow the instructions, and we’ll send you a download link to your email. The email contains the file that you’re going to use when you want to create ShopSite-ready products. Try it out now!

Step 4: Find A Comfy Chair. Put Your Feet Up. Let Venzee Handle It!

Here’s why you can now afford to get a bit lazy.  The ShopSite-ready products that we created in Step 3 are dynamic. That means that they’re going to respond to any updates to the source data. In other words, whenever someone changes the source data in any way your Venzee-created, ShopSite-ready products will be changed as well!  How’s that for convenient!
